  The Story of Jane’s Casserole.

"About 40 years ago my wife Jane asked me to make a casserole for her. Standing with me as I threw the piece she expressed her desire for size and other characteristics resulting in the finished casserole.
She cooked in it for many years since then and it is still in my kitchen functioning as always looking used but going strong.
When preparing for a show in a gallery the owners of the gallery asked me to do this casserole again just as it was done years ago.
It is meaningful to me now because every casserole I make is a commemoration of my wife’s life. She passed away in July of 2006."        Allan Buitekant
